Cumberland High School raised $200 at their Pink Out game last week! These funds will go to individuals fighting breast cancer. Cumberland went on to defeat Villa Grove 2-1!

The Cumberland County Cross Country teams competed at the Robinson Regional on Saturday. The boys placed 1st! This was the first time since 2007! The boys were led by Cameron Roedl, Regional champion, with a time of 15:54! The teams will compete at Sectionals next Saturday at 11 AM at Lake Land College! Good luck to all!

Math Applications visited the Neal Center YMCA today to test their cardboard boat. While unsuccessful, the experience gave them ideas for improving their design and the determination and excitement to try again. As a student said, "Failure is part of the learning process." The Cumberland County Cross Country team participated in the Trojan Invite in Charleston last weekend. The boys finished third out of 17 teams. Eight boys earned trophies by finishing in the top 50. The teams start the postseason on Saturday at the Robinson Regional. The girls race at 10 A.M, and the boys start at 11 AM.
